A|wear Opening Soon in House of Fraser
Sales Consultants

We are delighted to announce the opening of our new Concessions at House of Fraser in the following locations - Oxford St, Croydon, High Wycombe, Norwich, Maidstone, Camberley, Birmingham, Manchester, Solihull & Coldfield.

We now have a fantastic career opportunity for Sales Consultants to join the A|wear team and support the Concession Manager in leading the Concession team.

The successful candidates will work between 15-25 hours per week. Candidates must be flexible to work across week days, evenings and weekends as hours vary on a weekly basis in line with the needs of the business.

Are you the right person for this role?

The successful candidate will be the person who:

• Can demonstrate excellent customer service skills
• Has strong communication skills and superb self presentation standards
• Has previous fashion retail experience
• Has a flair for fashion and a desire to work specifically in the fashion retail industry
• Is professional, personable, ambitious and trustworthy
• Is a team player who works well on his/her own initiative, continuously striving to develop and grow professionally

What will the role entail?

The principal duties of this role will include:

• Providing excellent customer service, prioritising this responsibility above all others
• Being a brand ambassador for A|wear
• Achieving maximum sales potential
• Working as part of a team to ensure maximum concession performance
• Maintaining and optimising concession standards on a daily basis

Concession Managers

We now have a fantastic career opportunity for Concession Managers to join the A|wear team and lead the House of Fraser Concessions.

Are you the right person for this role?

The successful candidate will be the person who:

• Is an experienced Fashion Retail Concession Manager with at least 3 years experience. A qualification in the area of Retail Management is desirable.
• Can demonstrate strong commercial awareness as well as fashion knowledge
• Has proven ability to build, develop, manage and motivate a team
• Is committed to ensuring the delivery of excellent customer service
• Will be a brand ambassador for A|wear, personally striving to achieve goals set and inspiring his/her team to do the same
• Is professional, ambitious and trustworthy
• Continuously strives to improve and develop themselves professionally
• Has proven ability to successfully face the challenges of the current trading environment

What will the role entail?

• To deliver the targets of the business in terms of sales, profit, service, product and people
• To devise strategies for the growth of sales in your Concession
• To manage the day-to-day activities of the Concession
• To ensure our staff offer the highest level of customer service
• To ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures

Fashion Designer - A|wear Head Office

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Fashion Designer to join the team at our headquarters on Grafton Street, Dublin 2. This will be a permanent full time position and the successful candidate will have the unique opportunity to develop and create exclusive ranges for the A|wear brand.

Principle Duties

The primary responsibilities associated with this role include:

• Researching and developing new ranges to drive forward the existing product offer
• Working closely with teams including buying, marketing, and wholesale, reporting in to the GM
• Responsible for creating on trend and catwalk driven story boards/colour palettes and ranges
• Extensive travel in Europe and the far east for sample sourcing and development meetings
• Working across all departments including softs, jersey, knits, denim, outerwear and accessories
• Designing exclusive in-house ranges to be sold via the Wholesale team

Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate for this role will possess the following:

•  A minimum of 2 years experience in a womenswear design role essential
• Confident communication skills, with an ability to work in a fast pace environment
• Experience with photoshop and/or illustrator
• Experience working with an assistant
• A strong eye for sourcing key fabrics and trims
