To ensure you have clarity about what to expect from your shopping experience on A|wear.com, we have outlined the below terms and conditions for using the A|wear website (the “Terms”). Please read carefully through the Terms below before placing your order. These Terms may be updated by us from time to time. You should therefore check this page regularly to note any changes we may have made to the Terms. Changes to the Terms will apply to orders made subsequent to the revised Terms being published.
Please note that once your order has been confirmed, we will not be able to make any changes to the order.

We aim to deliver to you within the timeframes outlined above however we do not guarantee that deliveries will be made within the above delivery times. Please note that a signature is requested on delivery. If you are not in when our couriers deliver and if they cannot find a safe location to leave the package, they will attempt redelivery 1 more time on a different day. In order to arrange a suitable time for our couriers to deliver, please contact the number left on the drop card.
The aforementioned despatch and delivery times above may vary for a range of reasons. A|wear shall not be liable for loss resulting from deliveries outside the delivery periods specified above due to lack of product availability, delays from carriers, force majeure, or for any other reason.
Pricing and Payment Options
Once you have placed your order, we conduct a standard pre-authorisation check on your method-of-payment to ensure sufficient funds. We also undertake a fraud prevention process which is outlined in “Fraud Prevention” below. If you paid using your credit card, you will be charged once the goods have been despatched to the delivery address. If funds have ceased to be available between the pre-authorisation check and the actual charge, the order will be cancelled. We will send you an email to confirm the despatch of your order.
If you have paid via your PayPal account, your account will be charged at the time of the order, once you confirm your order on the website. If we are unable to ship your items to you for some reason, we will refund the value of the items that were not sent. This refund will be made to the payment method that you used for the order.
Authorisation by Card Issuer
Orders placed using credit or debit cards are subject to authorization by the card issuer. If the card issuer refuses to authorize the payment for any reason, awear.com is unable to process the payment. In this case, you will be notified of the refusal during the check-out process.
Pricing & VAT
Prices are subject to change without notice. Prices are inclusive of VAT (where applicable) at the applicable rate for the country where the goods are being shipped to. Prices of individual products exclude delivery fees. The total cost of the order includes the VAT inclusive cost of the products ordered in addition to any applicable delivery fees. Delivery fees are clearly marked when accessing your Shopping Bag or when choosing to Checkout.
If you order goods from the Irish awear.com website for delivery in the United Kingdom, or if you order goods from the UK awear.com website for delivery in the Republic of Ireland, the actual price you will be charged will be subject to the exchange rate applied by your credit or debit card company.
During the checkout process, we may use the information you provided to detect and prevent fraudulent activity. In so doing, we may disclose your address and postcode, as well as other information about your order, to third parties to perform that validation. Any disclosure of your information is done securely and you will never receive any marketing solicitation as a result of the information provided.
Verified by Visa & MasterCard SecureCode
A|wear aims to provide you with a safe, reliable shopping experience. We therefore support Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode, which have the same principles as Chip & Pin, and which help to protect your card against unauthorized use. If your bank or card issuer has adopted this programme, you may receive a Verified by Visa or MasterCard SecureCode verification page when you are shopping on the A|wear website. If you are not presented with the page but wish to register for the programme to improve the security associated with your card, please contact your bank directly, or search for Verified by Visa or MasterCard SecureCode on the Internet for more information.
If you are prompted with a Verified by Visa or MasterCard SecureCode screen, and you choose not to register, your card issuer may not allow your order to be processed on that card. If this occurs, you will be asked to provide a different payment method to complete your purchase.
Republic of Ireland and United Kingdom
If you are not completely satisfied with any item you ordered, we will refund the sale price of any item you return to us in saleable condition within 14 days of receipt. You may obtain a refund by posting the item back to us using the free returns label included in the package, or by visiting one of our stores.
If you choose to visit a store to obtain a refund, please ensure that you bring your despatch note with you as your proof of purchase, as well as the card you used to purchase the order online. If you are not the cardholder for the order, they will need to be present when the return takes place at the store in order to accept the refund back onto their card. Please note that refunds made for orders processed via PayPal can only be made by returning the items in the post. We cannot process Paypal orders in a store.
If you choose to return an item to us through the post, please be sure to ask your Post Office for a proof of posting. This document will include a tracking number that you can use to track your shipment and ensure it arrives safely back to A|wear. If we do not receive a returned item, and the shipment goes missing, we are unable to provide a refund, unless you can provide the proof of postage.
Once we receive the returned items, we will inspect and restock the goods before processing a refund. Please note that it may take up to 14 days for the refund to process and for the funds to show in your account. If you purchased the goods originally with a credit or debit card, we can only process a refund to the card that was used for the purchase. If your card expires before we are able to process the refund, please contact customer service and provide your name, order number, postcode, and phone number. For security reasons, we do not accept card information through email. Therefore, once you provide us with your contact information, we will contact you directly to take the new card details over the phone.
Please note that we do not offer refunds for pierced jewellery, swimwear or hair accessories – for hygiene reasons – unless the items are of unsatisfactory quality.The rest of the world
We guarantee to refund any item you are not completely happy with when you return it to us in saleable condition within 14 days of receipt. Any item that is soiled and/or damaged will not be refunded and any returned items will be resent back to the original delivery address. Note: Soiled includes the excessive odour of perfume and smoke.
In order to receive a full refund the items must be posted back to the web store within 14 days using the return form on the invoice. All price and ‘do not remove’ tags must still be attached to the item. Refunds will be credited to your original method of payment. In the interests of hygiene we do not offer refunds on pierced jewellery, hair accessories or hosiery unless the item is of unsatisfactory quality or unfit for purpose.
International postal returns are to be made at the customers own cost and we recommend proof of postage is obtained. Where proof of postage is obtained we will still offer a full refund if items are lost in transit, without it awear cannot be held liable. Please ensure you put the appropriate postage onto your returns parcel to enable us to receive it within the 28 day returns period.
We do not offer exchanges on International deliveries.
If you purchase items using a discount (for instance, 3-for-2) and decide to return one or more of the items, you will be refunded the full price of the items returned less the amount of the discount. For example, if you were to purchase three items in a 3-for-2 offer, each of which is regularly priced at £10, and were to return one of the items, you would not receive a refund because three items would no longer have been purchased, and therefore the offer would no longer be valid.
If you return all of the items purchased through a discount, then you will be refunded for the full value of the offer. For buy-one-get-one-free offers, you must return any free items to us in order for the full refund to be processed.
We endeavor to display accurate pricing, product descriptions & information, images, and availability as of the time that the information is submitted for display onto the website. However, because of lighting differences and differences with monitors, the actual colour of the products you receive may differ from what you see on screen. In addition, information can occasionally be entered erroneously on the system. In this case, we reserve the right to correct information, such as prices and promotions, which have been published on the A|wear site. Information about sizing is as accurate as possible.
We reserve the right to refuse access to part or all of this website at any time and for any reason. We reserve the right in our absolute discretion to, at any time and without notice, remove, modify or add information and services to any part of this website. We shall not be held liable if the website is unavailable for any period of time.
This website contains links to other websites which are not operated by A|wear. We have no control over the accuracy, security or other functionality of these other websites and we accept not responsibility for any loss or damage from your use of these sites. Use of these sites is subject to the terms and conditions as stated by each site.
For those interested in linking to our website, you may do so long as it is done in a legal manner that does not negatively impact our reputation. In establishing a link, you may not do so in a manner that conveys an association with A|wear or endorsement by A|wear where one does not exist.

These terms and conditions are to be construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland. In the event of any dispute or claim associated with these terms and conditions, that dispute or claim shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.

From time-to-time we may offer certain online promotions which may apply to certain items purchased on the website. The conditions relating to the discounts offered through those promotions will be specified at the time of issue.
We sometime run online promotions that are not available in our retail stores, and we run other promotions in-store that are not available online. Unless stated explicitly on the website, in-store promotions are not valid on the website, and visa versa.
In the event that a discount is obtained through a published promotional code, please be advised that customers cannot use more than one offer code per order.
Promotional/discount codes are to be used on full price stock only. They are NOT applicable to A|wear sale stock, or Concession brands available on awear.com unless otherwise stated.
Note: All boutique and Sale stock are excluded from all promotion offers unless stated other wise.
Delivery of goods is subject to availability of the goods themselves. And while we strive to ensure that availability is accurately reflected on the website, stock levels can change between the time an order is placed and the time of expected shipment. The processing of a payment does not obligate A|wear to fulfill the goods in question, should the items not be available. In this case, we will contact you as soon as possible to let you know about the lack of availability and you will not be charged for out-of-stock items.
Changes After Placing an Order
Unfortunately, at this time, we do not accept changes to orders after they have been placed. Therefore, please be sure that your order is correct before confirming your order.
Once you’ve placed an order on the A|wear website, we will send you an email to acknowledge your order. This acknowledgement does not imply an acceptance of the order. For orders paid via credit or debit cards, only when the order has been despatched will the purchase contract be made and will you be charged for the goods ordered. Once the items have been shipped you will receive an email informing you of the shipment. If you have paid through a PayPal account, your account will be charged when the order is placed.
We take reasonable care to safeguard against unauthorized parties accessing your order information. However, we shall not be held liable for any loss caused by a third party accessing the data you’ve provided while using the A|wear website. We shall not be held liable to any person for any loss caused by the use of any of the information contained in or displayed on the A|wear website.

Gift Card Terms and Conditions Republic of Ireland
- This Giftcard is not a cheque guarantee, credit or charge card.
- Giftcards can be purchased in any A|wear store in the Republic of Ireland or online. When purchased online, your name, address and bank card details will be requested. Giftcards purchased with euros are redeemable in full or part payment for merchandise from A|wear Stores within the Republic of Ireland only. These Giftcards cannot be redeemed in the UK or online.
- This Giftcard may not be exchanged for cash or vouchers.
- The minimum amount required to top-up this Giftcard is €1.The maximum Giftcard limit is €1,000. You can check the balance or top-up the Giftcard at any A|wear store in the Republic of Ireland.
- No change will be given but the balance may be applied to future purchases. Transactions that exceed the remaining Giftcard balance are prohibited and may be declined at the point of sale unless another form of payment is offered to make up the difference for the merchandise.
- In the event of 24 months of consecutive non-use, the Giftcard will expire and any balance remaining will be deducted.
- A|wear cannot be held liable for Giftcards, once purchased, which are subsequently lost, stolen or damaged. Replacement Giftcards and/or refunds will not be issued in such an event.
- A|wear reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions from time to time where it reasonably considers it necessary to do so (e.g. to change the scope of the Giftcard service, notify of the service's withdrawal or in the event of circumstances beyond its control).Reasonable notice of such changes will be given where possible.
- A|wear makes no warranties, express or impled, with respect to Giftcards, including without limitation, any express or implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for particular purpose. In the event of a Giftcard’s non-function, A|wear’s sole liability, shall be the replacement of such Giftcard.
- If any of these conditions shall be deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that condition shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining condition(s).
- These terms and conditions are subject to Irish law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
Sales Terms & Conditions

- A|wear reserves the right to withdraw, amend or terminate the offer at any time and their decision is final in all matters.
- By redeeming your discount, customers agree to be bound by the rules/terms & conditions.
- The Sale can be used in conjunction with any other offer, promotion, concession or voucher.
- All items bought in Sale must be returned within 7 days for UK and Ireland customers and 14 days for international customers.
- In order to receive a full refund on sale items purchased from our web store the items must be posted back to the Webstore within 7 days for UK and Ireland customers and 14 days for international customers. Alternatively you may obtain an exchange or gift card by returning the items to any of our A|wear stores within 7 days for UK and Ireland customers and 14 days for international customers.
